The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Digos plotted against Davao del Sur and Philippines. The SNDi of new construction in Digos followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Davao del Sur which rose steadily and Philippines which rose steadily. Most recently, Digos's incremental SNDi rose from 3.56 to 4.06 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Digos ranked 1st out of 2 cities in Davao del Sur and 3rd out of 114 in Philippines as of 2020.

In new street additions, Digos fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Panyabungan built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Gunnowal built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Digos and Panyabungan both became progressively more disconnected, while Gunnowal became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
