The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sakrand plotted against Sindh and Pakistan. The SNDi of new construction in Sakrand rose steadily, compared to Sindh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Pakistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sakrand's incremental SNDi rose from 4.15 to 4.82 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sakrand ranked 38th out of 50 cities in Sindh and 145th out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Sakrand built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Zaoqiang fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Nasirnagar fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Sakrand became progressively more disconnected, while Zaoqiang fluctuated in connectivity and Nasirnagar fluctuated in connectivity. Sakrand and Zaoqiang have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
