The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Mehar Taluka plotted against Sindh and Pakistan. The SNDi of new construction in Mehar Taluka rose steadily, compared to Sindh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Pakistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Mehar Taluka's incremental SNDi rose from 3.49 to 4.15 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Mehar Taluka ranked 18th out of 50 cities in Sindh and 54th out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

While Durba and Seka both built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, Mehar Taluka built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Mehar Taluka became progressively more disconnected, while Durba became progressively more connected and Seka became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Mehar Taluka had a more connected network than Durba in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
