The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Larkana plotted against Sindh and Pakistan. The SNDi of new construction in Larkana rose steadily, compared to Sindh which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Pakistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Larkana's incremental SNDi rose from 4.59 to 5.16 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Larkana ranked 42nd out of 50 cities in Sindh and 202nd out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Larkana and Cilacap both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Liupanshui built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Larkana and Cilacap both became progressively more disconnected, while Liupanshui became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Larkana had a more connected network than Cilacap in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
