The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sangla Hill plotted against Punjab and Pakistan. The SNDi of new construction in Sangla Hill rose steadily, compared to Punjab which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Pakistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sangla Hill's incremental SNDi rose from 3.01 to 3.36 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sangla Hill ranked 17th out of 146 cities in Punjab and 33rd out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Sangla Hill and Miskolc both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Jiangyuan built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Sangla Hill and Miskolc both became progressively more disconnected, while Jiangyuan fluctuated in connectivity. Sangla Hill and Miskolc have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
