The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Daska plotted against Punjab and Pakistan. The SNDi of new construction in Daska rose steadily, compared to Punjab which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Pakistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Daska's incremental SNDi rose from 4.17 to 4.7 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Daska ranked 96th out of 146 cities in Punjab and 164th out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Daska and Ijebu-Ode both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Xianyou fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Daska and Ijebu-Ode have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
