The SNDi of new construction in Bahawalpur rose steadily, compared to Punjab which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Pakistan which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Bahawalpur's incremental SNDi rose from 4.31 to 4.83 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Bahawalpur and George Town both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Mirzapur built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Bahawalpur and George Town have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
