The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Zhob plotted against Balochistan and Pakistan. While Balochistan and Pakistan both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Zhob's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Zhob's incremental SNDi rose from 3.0 to 4.14 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Zhob ranked 5th out of 19 cities in Balochistan and 65th out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Zhob and Tando Muhammad Khan both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kadi built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Zhob and Tando Muhammad Khan both fluctuated in connectivity, while Kadi became progressively more disconnected. Notably, Zhob had a more sprawly network than Kadi in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
