The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Turbat plotted against Balochistan and Pakistan. While Balochistan and Pakistan both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Turbat's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Turbat's incremental SNDi rose from 2.04 to 2.97 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Turbat ranked 3rd out of 19 cities in Balochistan and 29th out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

Turbat, Macheng, and Mota all fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street construction. Looking at the full network, Macheng and Mota both became progressively more disconnected, while Turbat fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Turbat had a more sprawly network than Macheng in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
