The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Kharan plotted against Balochistan and Pakistan. While Balochistan and Pakistan both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Kharan's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease. Most recently, Kharan's incremental SNDi rose from 1.52 to 2.08 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Kharan ranked 2nd out of 19 cities in Balochistan and 7th out of 292 in Pakistan as of 2020.

In new street additions, Kharan and Mandapeta both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Qubodiyon built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Mandapeta and Qubodiyon both became progressively more disconnected, while Kharan grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Kharan and Mandapeta have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
