The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Jakdo-dong plotted against Hamgyŏng-namdo and North Korea. The SNDi of new construction in Jakdo-dong peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Hamgyŏng-namdo which peaked in 1991-2005 and North Korea which peaked in 1976-1990. Most recently, Jakdo-dong's incremental SNDi fell from 7.77 to 5.64 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Jakdo-dong built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Utsunomiya built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Jijiga built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Utsunomiya and Jijiga both became progressively more disconnected, while Jakdo-dong grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved.
