The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Serti plotted against Taraba and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Serti rose steadily, compared to Taraba which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Serti's incremental SNDi rose from 2.65 to 6.15 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Serti ranked 3rd out of 8 cities in Taraba and 125th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Serti and Air Molek I both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Jaén fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Serti and Air Molek I both became progressively more disconnected, while Jaén fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Serti had a more connected network than Jaén in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
