The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Sifawa plotted against Sokoto and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Sifawa peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Sokoto which peaked in 1976-1990 and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Sifawa's incremental SNDi fell from 3.96 to 2.59 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Sifawa ranked 6th out of 6 cities in Sokoto and 285th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

While Wenatchee and Buran Gabarda both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, Sifawa built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Wenatchee and Buran Gabarda both became progressively more disconnected, while Sifawa grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Sifawa and Wenatchee have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
