While Rivers and Nigeria both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Abonnema's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Abonnema's incremental SNDi rose from 4.56 to 6.08 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Abonnema ranked 17th out of 28 cities in Rivers and 386th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Abonnema fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Oryol built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Jianyang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Abonnema fluctuated in connectivity, while Oryol became progressively more disconnected and Jianyang grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved.
