The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ilero plotted against Oyo and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Ilero rose steadily, compared to Oyo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ilero's incremental SNDi rose from 1.62 to 1.91 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Ilero ranked 2nd out of 15 cities in Oyo and 19th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Ilero built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Vijapur built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Muragacha fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Ilero and Vijapur both became progressively more disconnected, while Muragacha fluctuated in connectivity. Ilero and Muragacha have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
