The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Igbo Ora plotted against Oyo and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Igbo Ora rose steadily, compared to Oyo which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Igbo Ora's incremental SNDi rose from 2.25 to 2.79 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Igbo Ora and Malindi both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Phùng built increasingly connected streets over time. For the full network, Igbo Ora and Malindi both became progressively more disconnected, while Phùng became progressively more connected. Igbo Ora and Malindi have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
