What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Ikire and Sunbo both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Samarra fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Ikire and Sunbo both became progressively more disconnected, while Samarra grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Ikire had a more connected network than Sunbo in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
