The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Owode plotted against Ogun and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Owode was at its lowest in 1991-2005, compared to Ogun which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Owode's incremental SNDi rose from 1.61 to 2.41 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Owode ranked 2nd out of 16 cities in Ogun and 74th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Owode and Buni Yadi both built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns, while Remscheid built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Owode became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards, while Remscheid became progressively more disconnected and Buni Yadi became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards.
