The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ijebu-Ode plotted against Ogun and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Ijebu-Ode rose steadily, compared to Ogun which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ijebu-Ode's incremental SNDi rose from 3.57 to 4.81 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Ijebu-Ode and Daska both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Enshi built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full street network, though, all three cities follow the same trend. Ijebu-Ode and Daska have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
