The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Idi-Iroko plotted against Ogun and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Idi-Iroko followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Ogun which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Idi-Iroko's incremental SNDi fell from 4.88 to 4.15 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Idi-Iroko ranked 15th out of 16 cities in Ogun and 359th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Idi-Iroko fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Shahrud built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Göttingen built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Idi-Iroko fluctuated in connectivity, while Shahrud became progressively more connected and Göttingen became progressively more disconnected.
