The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Share plotted against Kwara and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Share peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Kwara which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Share's incremental SNDi fell from 1.82 to 1.12 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Share ranked 1st out of 7 cities in Kwara and 4th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Share built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Patahi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns and Caia built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Share became progressively more disconnected, while Patahi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Caia became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Share and Patahi have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
