The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Lafiagi plotted against Kwara and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Lafiagi followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Kwara which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Lafiagi's incremental SNDi fell from 4.65 to 4.39 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Lafiagi ranked 6th out of 7 cities in Kwara and 343rd out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Lafiagi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Akkalkot built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns and Dikiran built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Lafiagi fluctuated in connectivity, while Akkalkot became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards and Dikiran became progressively more disconnected. Lafiagi and Dikiran have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
