The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Koko plotted against Kebbi and Nigeria. All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Koko's incremental SNDi rose from 1.27 to 1.28 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Koko ranked 2nd out of 12 cities in Kebbi and 26th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Koko and Qing both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while R S Pura built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Qing and R S Pura both became progressively more disconnected, while Koko grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Koko and R S Pura have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
