The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Batsari plotted against Katsina and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Batsari followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Katsina which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Batsari's incremental SNDi fell from 1.39 to 0.92 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Batsari ranked 3rd out of 15 cities in Katsina and 13th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Batsari fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Igbara-Odo built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Veenendaal fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Igbara-Odo and Veenendaal both became progressively more disconnected, while Batsari fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Batsari had a more sprawly network than Igbara-Odo in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
