The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Koi plotted against Kaduna and Nigeria. While Kaduna and Nigeria both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Koi's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Koi's incremental SNDi rose from 2.22 to 3.63 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Koi ranked 5th out of 11 cities in Kaduna and 90th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Koi and Iquitos both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Yakoma built increasingly disconnected streets over time.
