The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with KUNDULUN plotted against Gombe and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in KUNDULUN peaked in 1976-1990, compared to Gombe which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, KUNDULUN's incremental SNDi fell from 2.95 to 2.82 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, KUNDULUN ranked 6th out of 8 cities in Gombe and 179th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, KUNDULUN built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Daura built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Palu fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Daura and Palu both became progressively more disconnected, while KUNDULUN grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
