The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Egwuachi plotted against Enugu and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Egwuachi peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Enugu which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Egwuachi's incremental SNDi fell from 5.63 to 3.1 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Egwuachi ranked 6th out of 11 cities in Enugu and 331st out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Egwuachi and Ravensburg both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Barbil built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Barbil and Ravensburg both became progressively more disconnected, while Egwuachi grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Notably, Egwuachi had a more sprawly network than Barbil in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
