The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ikere-Ekiti plotted against Ekiti and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Ikere-Ekiti rose steadily, compared to Ekiti which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ikere-Ekiti's incremental SNDi rose from 5.0 to 6.03 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Ikere-Ekiti and Alaba Kulito both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Saskatoon fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Ikere-Ekiti and Alaba Kulito both became progressively more disconnected, while Saskatoon became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Ikere-Ekiti and Saskatoon have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
