The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Igbara-Odo plotted against Ekiti and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Igbara-Odo rose steadily, compared to Ekiti which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Igbara-Odo's incremental SNDi rose from 3.72 to 6.24 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Igbara-Odo ranked 8th out of 17 cities in Ekiti and 185th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Igbara-Odo and Tesistán both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Batsari fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Igbara-Odo and Tesistán both became progressively more disconnected, while Batsari fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Igbara-Odo had a more connected network than Batsari in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
