The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Uromi plotted against Edo and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Uromi rose steadily, compared to Edo which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Uromi's incremental SNDi rose from 3.98 to 5.31 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Uromi ranked 9th out of 12 cities in Edo and 230th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Uromi built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Wugang built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Paradip built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Wugang and Paradip both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Uromi became progressively more disconnected. Uromi and Wugang have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
