The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Auchi plotted against Edo and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Auchi rose steadily, compared to Edo which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Auchi's incremental SNDi rose from 3.4 to 4.23 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. For the full network, Auchi and Amol both became progressively more disconnected, while Nandail grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Auchi and Nandail have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
