The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Orerokpe plotted against Delta and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Orerokpe rose steadily, compared to Delta which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Orerokpe's incremental SNDi rose from 3.86 to 5.1 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Orerokpe built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Colonia Santa Teresa built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Dongtou fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. Looking at the full network, Colonia Santa Teresa and Dongtou both grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, while Orerokpe became progressively more disconnected. Orerokpe and Dongtou have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
