In new street additions, Obiaruku built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Um el Qusur built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Ankoro fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Obiaruku and Um el Qusur both became progressively more disconnected, while Ankoro fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Obiaruku had a more sprawly network than Ankoro in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
