The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Koko plotted against Delta and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Koko rose steadily, compared to Delta which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Koko's incremental SNDi rose from 4.06 to 5.66 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Koko ranked 15th out of 20 cities in Delta as of 2020.

In new street additions, Koko built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Baise built increasingly connected streets over time and Sobral fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Koko and Sobral both became progressively more disconnected, while Baise became progressively more connected. Koko and Baise have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
