The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ogoja plotted against Cross River and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Ogoja rose steadily, compared to Cross River which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ogoja's incremental SNDi rose from 3.77 to 5.64 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Ogoja ranked 2nd out of 6 cities in Cross River and 233rd out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Ogoja and Zhaoping both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Nohar built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Ogoja and Zhaoping both became progressively more disconnected, while Nohar became more connected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then grew more sprawly from 1991-2005 onwards. Notably, Ogoja had a more connected network than Nohar in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
