The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ikom plotted against Cross River and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Ikom rose steadily, compared to Cross River which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ikom's incremental SNDi rose from 4.33 to 4.88 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. While Hopkins Mill and Darmstadt both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, Ikom built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Ikom and Hopkins Mill both became progressively more disconnected, while Darmstadt grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Ikom and Darmstadt have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
