The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Jamaari plotted against Bauchi and Nigeria. While Bauchi and Nigeria both followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, Jamaari's new street additions followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Jamaari's incremental SNDi rose from 2.11 to 2.94 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Jamaari ranked 5th out of 13 cities in Bauchi and 107th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

In new street additions, Jamaari fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Jishan built increasingly connected streets over time and Itaperuna built increasingly disconnected streets over time. For the full network, Jamaari and Itaperuna both became progressively more disconnected, while Jishan became progressively more connected. Notably, Jamaari had a more connected network than Jishan in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
