The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Uquo plotted against Akwa Ibom and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Uquo rose steadily, compared to Akwa Ibom which rose steadily and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Uquo's incremental SNDi rose from 5.04 to 5.4 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Uquo ranked 9th out of 16 cities in Akwa Ibom and 294th out of 422 in Nigeria as of 2020.

While Sidi Khaled and Hassi Bounif both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Uquo built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Uquo and Hassi Bounif both became progressively more disconnected, while Sidi Khaled grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Uquo and Sidi Khaled have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
