What about similarly populated cities?
While Hội An and Ji'an both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Michika built increasingly disconnected streets over time in new street additions. For the full network, Michika and Ji'an both became progressively more disconnected, while Hội An grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Michika and Hội An have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
