The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Madagali plotted against Adamawa and Nigeria. The SNDi of new construction in Madagali rose steadily, compared to Adamawa which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Nigeria which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Madagali's incremental SNDi rose from 3.17 to 4.44 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Madagali built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Oswaldtwistle built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Marl built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Madagali and Oswaldtwistle both became progressively more disconnected, while Marl grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Madagali and Marl have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
