The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Maasvlakte plotted against Zuid-Holland and Netherlands. The SNDi of new construction in Maasvlakte followed a zig-zag trend with an overall decrease, compared to Zuid-Holland which peaked in 1991-2005 and Netherlands which peaked in 1991-2005. Most recently, Maasvlakte's incremental SNDi rose from 3.36 to 3.85 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Maasvlakte ranked 6th out of 6 cities in Zuid-Holland and 43rd out of 43 in Netherlands as of 2020.

In new street additions, Maasvlakte fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Janaúba built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved and Edinburg built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Looking at the full network, Janaúba and Edinburg both became progressively more disconnected, while Maasvlakte grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved.
