The SNDi of new construction in Deventer followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to Overijssel which peaked in 1976-1990 and Netherlands which peaked in 1991-2005. Most recently, Deventer's incremental SNDi rose from 2.01 to 2.29 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Deventer and Zaki Biam both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Song built increasingly connected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then shifted to more disconnected patterns. For the full network, Deventer and Zaki Biam both became progressively more disconnected, while Song became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards. Deventer and Zaki Biam have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
