The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Laukhi plotted against East and Nepal. The SNDi of new construction in Laukhi followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase, compared to East which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Nepal which rose steadily. Most recently, Laukhi's incremental SNDi rose from 4.13 to 12.95 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Laukhi ranked 4th out of 4 cities in East and 22nd out of 22 in Nepal as of 2020.

While Rajendrapur and Maji both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, Laukhi fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. Looking at the full network, Rajendrapur and Maji both became more connected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then grew more sprawly from 1976-1990 onwards, while Laukhi fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Laukhi had a more connected network than Rajendrapur in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
