What about similarly populated cities?
While Vicenza and Quanpu both built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved, Twante fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street additions. For the full network, Twante and Vicenza both became progressively more disconnected, while Quanpu grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Notably, Twante had a more connected network than Vicenza in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
