The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Hlegu plotted against Yangon and Myanmar. All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Hlegu's incremental SNDi rose from 3.13 to 4.17 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Hlegu ranked 2nd out of 13 cities in Yangon and 37th out of 113 in Myanmar as of 2020.

Hlegu, Ogharefe, and Quibdó all fluctuated in its street-construction patterns in new street construction. For the full network, Hlegu and Ogharefe both became progressively more disconnected, while Quibdó grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. Hlegu and Ogharefe have been converging in their street-network character since 1975.
