In new street additions, Palaw and Xia both built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Tuanfeng fluctuated in its street-construction patterns. For the full network, Palaw and Xia both became progressively more disconnected, while Tuanfeng fluctuated in connectivity. Palaw and Tuanfeng have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
