What about similarly populated cities?
In new street additions, Sagaing fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Kitale built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved and Sokodé built increasingly disconnected streets over time. Looking at the full network, Kitale and Sokodé both became progressively more disconnected, while Sagaing fluctuated in connectivity. Notably, Sagaing had a more sprawly network than Kitale in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
