The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Ye plotted against Mon and Myanmar. The SNDi of new construction in Ye rose steadily, compared to Mon which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Myanmar which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Ye's incremental SNDi rose from 4.13 to 6.85 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Ye ranked 4th out of 6 cities in Mon and 66th out of 113 in Myanmar as of 2020.

In new street additions, Ye built increasingly disconnected streets over time, while Baghpat Road built increasingly connected streets over time and Lower Hutt built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Ye and Lower Hutt both became progressively more disconnected, while Baghpat Road became progressively more connected. Notably, Ye had a more connected network than Lower Hutt in 1975 but the two have since reversed their relative ranking.
