All three follow the same trend in new construction, suggesting a shared regional pattern of development. Most recently, Kyaukse's incremental SNDi rose from 2.93 to 3.22 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In new street additions, Kyaukse and Soma both fluctuated in its street-construction patterns, while Nanxiong built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. For the full network, Kyaukse and Soma both fluctuated in connectivity, while Nanxiong became progressively more disconnected. Kyaukse and Soma have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
