The chart above shows SNDi trends for new street additions (left panel) and the entire network (right panel), with Pantanaw plotted against Ayeyarwady and Myanmar. The SNDi of new construction in Pantanaw peaked in 1991-2005, compared to Ayeyarwady which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase and Myanmar which followed a zig-zag trend with an overall increase. Most recently, Pantanaw's incremental SNDi fell from 4.77 to 4.72 between 1991-2005 and 2006-2020. In terms of the aggregate network, Pantanaw ranked 3rd out of 18 cities in Ayeyarwady and 50th out of 113 in Myanmar as of 2020.

In new street additions, Pantanaw built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved, while Ogwashi-Uku built increasingly disconnected streets over time and Wuning built increasingly disconnected streets from 1975 through 1976-1990, then improved. For the full network, Pantanaw and Ogwashi-Uku both became progressively more disconnected, while Wuning grew more disconnected from 1975 through 1991-2005, then improved. Pantanaw and Wuning have been growing further apart in their street-network character since 1975.
